Örebro flyes home to Sweden to night, while the team led by the former goslscorer in Ajax, Rangers and AZ will stay a little longer.

The Chinese side took the lead, but two good strikes from Babajide David made it 2-1 for the Danes at half time. An Oscar free kick found Li Shenglongs head and the substitute scored the final goal in an entertaining match.
Solbakken pleased with the performance

The match between the sides from Denmark and Sweden ended in a scorless draw. FCK was by far the better side, specialy in the second half, but Örebro was working very hard and Axel Kjäll’s men was good organized and physical strong. Both goalkeepers also made som match winning saves. The Swedes was pretty satisfied with the first half.
- I was pleased with the performance, because we created guite a few chances, and all the young players in the squad got to play, Ståle Solbakken told us.
At some stage the FCK manager was a bit frustrated on the sideline, specialy as Rasmus Falk missed a couple of great chances at the end of the match.
Ahead of the match, the Norwegian boss at FCK took the oportunity to listen to the former Millwall, Liverpool and Arsenal player Jimmy Carter, who works for Sporting Events Ltd the organizer of the tournament, telling some storys from his time at Anfield. It is common knowledge by almost everyone that Ståle is a great Liverpool supporter. I guess he wasn’t to pleased with Liverpools draw against Leicester later on last night.

FC Midtjylland came back from 0-2

Astana shocked the Danes in the opening minutes of the match by scoring twice with in the first 10 minutes, but FC Midtjylland only needed five minutes to level the score. The Champions of Denmark then controled the game and they could have scored more than the two goals they got in the second half.
The two sides met in Champions League qualification last summer, and the team from Kasakhstan poroceeded to the next round thanks to a 2-1 win at home. The match in Denmark ended 0-0.
Astana also conseded four goals in the match against FC Copenhagen Here in Dubai, and today they did it again to a Danish team.

It is a rare opportunity to watch the two best sides in Denmark on the same day.
Mikael Uhre scores the winner

Brøndby was the best side in a physical batle at Jebel Al Center of Excellence. Uhre scored a deserved winner just after an hour when Simon Hedlund sendt him through.
Both the Danes and the Uzbeks handled the heat well, it was 31 degrees when the match started. Pakhtakor Tashkent had their International players back from the Asia Cup for this match.
Good performance from FCK, beats Astana 4-0.

FCK was by far the best side in this match, specialy in the second half when the team from Copenhagen scored all their goals. Astana did not create very many chances, and at the end Ståle Solbakken even sendt on some of the youngsters. Dame N`Doyes header for the second goal was a real beauty.
Asian Cup 2019 is played in U.A.E.
South Korea are the favorits to win the Championship, and they secured a place in Fridays quaterfinal with a win against Bahrain here in Dubai. Now they play Qatar at Zayed Sport City Stadium. Later Friday night Australia play U.A.E. in Al Ain, that is also in Abu Dahbi.
In the quartefinals on Thursday, Japan beat Vietnam 1-0 at Al Maktoum Stadium in Dubai, and Carlos Queiroz Iran won 3-0 against China.
The Dubai Dessert Classic on The Europa Tour is also on, so it is buzzing with sport in Dubai this week. Liverpool have spent some days at NAS, where also FC Copenhagen is doing their training sessions. The golfer’s stays at the same hotels as most of the teams in The Dubai International Cup.
